I doubt either of you will actually hear this... At least I hope you don't. But I'm recording this message in the slim chance that one or both of you will figure out the truth about our family. I am a horrible, horrible father; I know that. In fact I think I've always known I would be. But Catherine- your mother... wanted to have a child so badly. When she learned there were going to be two of you I'm sure she was thrilled, even though I never got to find out. If she was still alive I wouldn't be doing this, but I have no choice. I can't handle it. I'm weak; I'm pathetic. I can't blame either of you if you come to hate me, especially you... you know which one I'm talking about.

I don't have much time before I make the... delivery, so I'm going to have to make this fast. Cywren, please understand... and don't try to go looking for your sister.
